Project Overview
The VMC 360 Degree Tour is a 360-degree video that shows viewers the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC) in an immersive and augmented way. The VMC is Vaughan’s new downtown that is being built from scratch.
The goal is to show prospective office tenants and the commercial real estate community what the VMC is now, and what it will look like in the future, with the ultimate objective of attracting tenants for forthcoming office buildings.
The project rolled out in two phases. The first version was experimental and included the live-action video with graphic overlays. It was so well received that we decided to invest in a major upgrade to add the 3D towers. After two years, it continues to be a cornerstone product in our VMC marketing strategy so we recently refreshed the video with a new live-action video and updated graphics.
Across all channels, the video has attracted more than 12,000 views. It has also won an Excellence in Economic Development award from the International Economic Developers Council.”
