We specialize in producing a wide range of services such as video production, photography, 3D virtual tours, infographics, animations, & communication distribution solutions. We are aware of the impacts on our environment of everyday living & working. Winged Whale Media social and environmental responsibilities fall under two categories: Compliance and Proactiveness. Compliance refers to our commitment to legality and willingness to observe community values. Proactiveness encompasses our commitment to promote human rights, community engagement and protect our natural environment, health and safety, diversity, equity, volunteerism.

Compliance:

Proactiveness:

Supporting the Community: Our company supports community and educational programs. Through our community investment activities with several local schools and colleges, we work on video production projects and offer work experience helping to raise the aspiration of young people and through fix term employment partnerships we support diverse minority people to improve their skills and prepare them for the opportunity of a better job placement.

Learning: Our company actively invest in staff training; we listen carefully to suggestions from staff, suppliers, and customers, we also encourage staff to constantly develop our products and services, we stive to continuously improve the way we operate.

Volunteering: we volunteer both as a company and externally as individuals.

Preserving the environment: apart from legal obligations our company is proactive in protecting the environment, we take a green stance. A single crew member who cares about their personal carbon footprint maybe able to foster an environmentally friendly mindset within the entire production.

Energy: Lights are switched off when no one is in the room. We use rechargeable batteries for our cameras and location lighting. We turn off non-essential office electrical equipment when not in use.

Waste: Digital is best, we aim to minimize the amount of paper used. We recycle printer cartridges. When we are travelling, we use our mugs rather than one time use drink containers. Reduce, reuse, and recycle is our mantra in the office. Buying good quality camera gear and filters that offer longer shelf life.

Transport: When workloads allow, personnel can work from home to save unnecessary travel. To avoid unnecessary travelling we communicate by email, teleconferencing or phone. Whenever possible we travel by train or use only one vehicle for the crew.
